The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is exhibiting at the M&T Expo at stand G7. IPAF is reaching out to its growing body of Brazilian members and training centres.

The IPAF Brazilian Country Council is meeting later this week and IPAF is promoting its many safety and industry initiatives, including its accident reporting database and rental market reports for Europe and the US. The US report includes a section on the emerging market of Brazil. The Federation is currently seeking a representative in Brazil.

"IPAF's growing role in Latin America as an international membership organisation is challenging our existing resources and it is time for us to invest in further developing our member services, especially in Brazil where our federation is recruiting many members at the moment and where the aerial work platform industry is growing very fast," said IPAF CEO Tim Whiteman. "This is why we are recruiting a country representative to support our coordinator of operations for Latin America and strengthen our presence in Brazil."

IPAF recently announced that Terex CEO Ron DeFeo and United Rentals CEO Michael Kneeland will be addressing the IPAF Summit, which will be held on the same day as the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), on 26 March 2013 in Miami, Florida, USA.
